PLAYER INFO Player Name: Ann Other Characters: Leonard McCoy Contact: see above
CHARACTER INFO Name: Ethan Wate Alias: N/A Fandom:The Caster Chronicles PB: Ethan Peck
Age: 17 Grade/Occupation: Junior
Powers: Prophetic dreams that physically affect him, can communicate with the dead as long as they make the first contact, something of a paranormal bloodhound
General Personality: Ethan is very much a good kid. He’s polite to his elders (everyone gets a “ma’am” or “sir”), cleans his plate, and goes to church every Sunday (admittedly this is because he has to drive his aunts there but that’s not the point). He’s very smart, an avid reader, plays basketball on Jackson High’s varsity team, and is generally pretty popular. Ethan is also very loyal when it comes to certain people - namely, his best friend and his girlfriend. He has gone to the end of the world and unblinkingly faced down certain death just to see her again. For all that he champions other people talking about how they feel, he’s pretty much a closed book when it comes to his own emotions and thoughts. He dreamed of escaping Gatlin one day, going to college, living in a big city … but he can’t say he ever really imagined it like this.
History:TW: Attempted suicide
There are no secrets in Gatlin, South Carolina.
At least, that’s what Ethan thought. Then he met Lena Duchannes, the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen, and fell for her harder than he knew he could. His association with her led him into the dark and secret places of Gatlin that he had never knew existed, and it was during that time that he discovered his own powers. As the drama maelstrom surrounding Lena and her family sucked him deeper in, he began making more and more reckless choices in his attempts to stay with Lena, like traveling through dangerous territory to follow her to the end of the world, facing down Dark Casters without fear, even willingly going to kill himself, because he believed it would help Lena. But the suicide attempt went wrong, and Amma and Mitchell (the Wates’ housekeeper and Ethan’s father, respectively) decided that Ethan needed to be sent somewhere far away, where no one knew him, where he could recover and learn to cope with his powers.
Because there are no secrets in Gatlin, but sometimes, you still need to keep one.
